Vishal Khutel (Co-Founder) of orangeslates realized that teachers were grossly under-prepared for something like this and He decided to help them with the right set of skills and tools to become effective online teachers. He started with low-cost, large-scale online training programs for teachers across the country.
He believed that to truly have a significant & sustainable impact on any education system, the only way is to empower the educators -be it the teachers or principals, or the administration. They need the right skills, resources, and continuous support to be able to educate students effectively and prepare them for the future they deserve.
India is a collection of many different markets and segments with varying preferences and needs. Segmenting this market effectively is a key skill we learned over time. With over 35000 teachers up-skilled, we have just begun. Our goal is to prepare every teacher for a future no one is prepared for it. The single most impactful profession is that of teaching. In the last few years with the most focus being on passing teachers, we want to make the teaching profession operational & respected again.
OrangeSlates is built to solve that exact problem. And the solution can only come from working together with the educators themselves.
